ON REGISTER / PRIVATE PILOT
Privacy policy
Effective November 3, 2026
On Register is a print-shop job board operated by Lunar Elevation. This policy explains the information used by our website and pilot service at shopboard.lunarelevation.com. Contact us at [email protected] with privacy or account questions.
Information we collect
If you create a workspace, we collect your shop name, email address and a salted, one-way password hash. We also store the job details you enter, which can include customer names, quantities, due dates, status and notes. Changes to job fields may be recorded with the account and time of the change. Please avoid putting payment-card information, government identifiers or other sensitive information in job notes.
Our servers and infrastructure providers may record technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser details, error and security logs. If you email us, we receive your message, email address and any information you choose to send.
How we use information
We use information to operate your workspace, authenticate users, display and export jobs, respond to requests, maintain backups, investigate abuse and maintain the service. We may send account and security communications, such as a password-reset message, when that feature is available. We do not use your job records to email your customers.
Demo, cookies and local storage
The sample board runs in your browser and its demo data is saved in browser local storage on your device. An authenticated workspace uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. Clearing browser storage can remove local demo data and sign you out. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising tracking. Our service does not presently change its behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.
Who receives information
We do not sell your personal information. We use infrastructure providers to deliver the service: Cloudflare provides network and security services and email sending; Gmail provides our contact mailbox; and our hosting provider runs the server. These providers receive information needed for the services they provide. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable law.
Storage, backups and security
Workspace information is stored on our server. We use HTTPS, access controls and password hashing, and we make regular database backups. Backups are retained in a rotating set; information deleted from the active service can remain in backups until those copies expire or are removed. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
Retention and your choices
We retain account and job information while your workspace is active and as needed for operation, security, legal obligations and backups. Archiving a job hides it from the active board; it does not permanently delete it. Email us to request access, correction, export or deletion of account information. We may need to verify your request and retain information when required or permitted by law. You can export active jobs as CSV while signed in.
Information about other people
When a shop enters information about its customers, the shop decides what information to enter and is responsible for its own notices and permissions. Customers with questions about data entered by a shop should contact that shop; we can assist the shop with a request.
Children and changes
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes when appropriate.
